Pours pitch-black, brown-ish head. Coffee and roasted malts in the aroma. Very ballanced, drinkable, almost imperial stout-ish. Worth a try

Pitch black colour with a small light brown head. Aroma is coffee, liqorice and roasted malts. Some brown sugar. Flavor is moderately bitter. Roasted malts and coffee but also dark caramel, liqorice and vanilla. Some smokey notes. Lingering aftertaste.

Nice imperial porter. For me the highest point is an aroma. Smells like pralines or milk chocolate. Head is thick light-brown, very nice. Taste for me lacks some body. Roasted chocolaty, coffee notes. I’d prefer it more sweet rather than on a salty side. But I guess this is a difference between porter and stout.

On tap at BeerTemple. Black pour with creamy brown foam. Aroma of black licorice really roasty, light dark chocolate notes. Taste is very roasty, light molasses, not very sweet, toffee, fruity, lingering boozy finish. A bit harsh actually, something a bit acrid, maybe too much black patent or something similar.

Draft at Beer Temple. Pours near black with a small brown head. Aroma of big roast, plastic, jam. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter. Caramel in chocolate and good stuff in the palate, along with a strange fishiness which thankfully disappears into a lovely fudge finish. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Keg at the Cask, Pimlico, 26/02/14. Black with a well appointed dirty tan head, this beer looks the bollocks! Nose is big roast, rich chocolate, light spice, rye bread, molasses, dark toffee. Taste comprises chocolate maltesers, big hoppy backbite, light coffee, hint of booze, mineral bite, molasses, tar. Medium bodied +, soft carbonation, smooth on the palate. Solid drinkable Imperial affair!

tap@Mikkeller Bar Siren tap takeover - pours black with a medium tan head. Roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, medium sweet, slight vanilla, warming boozy, nice sweet/bitter balance. Lovely drop.
