Clear dark black brown color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, light coffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate, dark chocolate, roasted, light to moderate coffee. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140131]

Medium to big sweet flavor with rich bittersweet chocolate, mild tangy rye, purple grapes, raisins, charred marshmallows, scorched earth. Full bodied with fine carbonation and velvety texture. Mellow warmth to conclude with charred wood bitterness, liquified chocolate, prunes, more black currants, subtle burnt herbs. Lingering dark fruit sugars. Good one.
