Back for a one off and only because this beer is so immense. Siren really know how to do this. Great brewer, great beer, dark and sticky and full. Thanks Cotteridge Wines for sticking it on a growler. See you next year.

Keg at CBC Clapham. It pours a almost black body with a large creamy beige head. Aroma is sweet with big dark chocolate and red berries notes. Plenty of fruity character in this one with some vanilla and Christmas spices too. Taste is again quite sweet and big on the dark chocolate notes, alongside notes of vanilla, rum cherries, plums and coffee. Literally some very very classy and great dark chocolate. Body is silk in a glass with soft carbonation. This is a bit on the sweet side yet totally outstanding.

Draft. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops, roasted malt, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, alcohol, roasted malt, and soy sauce, leading to a roasted finish.

Tap at CBC Clapham. Pours black with a thick and sticky tan head. Great lacing. Nose is big dark chocolate. High quality dark chocolate to be specific. Plenty of vanilla and spice coming through with some tangy orange. Very appealing. Taste is thick and bitter dark chocolate. Literally some very very classy and great dark chocolate. Moderate coffee/mocha tones, spice, earthy undertone, dates. Very smooth with long bitterness on the finish. Perfect sweetness to balance the beer. Goes down a treat. Sensational porter
