Deep dark brown, rapidly diminishing rusty head; aroma is smoky, roasted malt, burnt toast; smooth, velvety mouthfeel; taste is dates, raisins, milk chocolate and a hint of whisky; seemed less bitter than the standard version; just as good though.

330 ml. bottle. It pours dark brown with a very thin ring of tan foam. The aroma is really nice. Chocolaty, fudgy, nutty with some toast and mild notes of vanilla and wood. Great balance. The flavor is mildly acidic with roast coffee, nuts, caramel, cocoa, burnt sugar and wood near the finish. The carbonation is low and the body is full. Tasty stuff. Very acidic.
