On tap at Original. Pours an opaque black with a bit of foam. Sweet with aromas of coco nut, toffee and caramel. Also aromas of milk chocolate and some vanilla. Hints of alcohol. Medium to light bodied. No carbonation. Toffeeish finish.

Draught at MikkellerBar. Pitch black - light brown bubbles. Licorice. Roasted. Nice burned malty. Light oxidation. Sweet notes. Fruity. Sweet chocolate. Light medicine notes. Ok. A bit thin body and finish.

Tap @ Mikkeller Bar, Viktoriagade. Pours deep black with no real head. Aroma has oak, mild coffee and a touch of vanilla. Not nearly as interesting as the original. Low, to no carbonation, fine oily and light dry mouthfeel. Flavour is mild, sweet vanilla, a touch of coffee, very sweet. Mild bitterness. Doesn?t do much good to the original.

RBWG14 Trip Rating #68. Bottle shared at the Friday Night Downtown Inn Bottle Share. Pours a dark brown color with a thin frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, cocoa, herbal hops. The taste is cocoa, chocolate, whiskey, vanilla, mild roasted malts, herbal hops. Medium bodied, well balanced.

Bottle. Near black with a beige foam. Aromas are vanilla and cream with marzipan icing. Coffee with blackberry and dark chocolate with cherry. Flavours are dark cherry and chocolate with nutty alcohol. Boozy whisky with oak barrel and vinous notes. Coffee bitterness with candy sugar. Easy to drink but lacks condition to be great.

330ml bottle at 7.3%. Pours very dark brown with a small head. Aroma is soft minty bourbon with a hint of roast. Taste has roast and liquorice to start. A little bourbon and liquorice in the finish.

Pours black with brown streaks and almost no head. Swirling it leaves nice traces along the glass. Aroma is chocolate, muscovado sugar, honey, vanilla, whisky, coffee.
