Breakfast stout with a gentle touch of smoke, coffee and chocolate. Broken Dream is deep and complex. She lurks in your imagination. She binds smoke and coffee aromas with chocolate, milk and oats to create something thick, velvety and slick. She will draw you towards a land of flavour, passion and colour.

On draft, as a stout this one is a stand out. Pours a traditional deep brown to black, thick rocky off white head. Inviting aroma of dark chocolate and vanilla, some butterscotch. Taste is very much the dark chocolate up front. Middle of the mouth comes the vanilla and chocolate cream and finishes smooth. Really a triumph of brewing a bold beer without a bold abv.

Bottle at home from mchughs. The lighter sibling to the wonderful shattered dreams. This lives up to the expectation. Pours black with fluffy tan head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, vanilla, liquorice, leather, slightly sour milk. Smooth creamy sweet dry coffee flavour. Carbonation is pitched just right. Full bodied. Great sweet lower abv stout.

Sweetness, chocolate, and coffee in the aroma. The taste is the same. Very light in taste to drink anyways. Lovely bitterness that fills the mouth for a long while. Wonderful beer to drink. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
