Bottle. Appearance is black, with a brown bubbly head. Aroma- lots of roast malt and coffee, dark chocolate, hint of toffee. Taste- more coffee, more milk than dark chocolate in the taste, fair amount of caramel sweetness which is more prominent in the finish, fluffy mouthfeel. Very nice indeed.

The aroma had a heavy smoke scent. The flavor begins to add that smoke but also a bunch of plastic and tar. Not a very good representation of a breakfast stout since the flavors are just off. The palate is all off because of it too. Bottle in England.

Bottle. Rather promising aroma - dark chocolate, roast, minerals, oatmeal, subtle coffee and some smoke that is easy to detect but far from dominating. Slick mouthfeel due to the oatmeal and lactose. The flavour is disappointing - weak, without any depth. A bit of chocolate, light sweetness, the good part is the roasted, smoky finish. Nice aroma profile but the flavour lacks punch, sadly.

Keg from dev cat, sheffield. Black with small tan head. Aroma is coffee and chocolate. Taste is sweet and slightly bitter. Body is honestly a bit watery, and carbonation is mild.

On tap at Craven Arms, pours black with a medium brown head. Nose brings out lactose, coffee, and a touch of roast. Flavour is along the same lines, with coffee upfront, followed by a little lactose. A coffee forward stout that does everything right. Very nice.

On tap at Reading Beer Festival 2015. Lovely roasted malt aroma. Black, coffee coloured bubbly head. I thought this was a lovely, complex stout.

Beautiful smooth creamy shout that full flavour and goes great with a nice full chocolaty tart.
