I was incredibly surprised by this Stout. It has the most wonderful aroma of coffee, toffee, chocolate, oats and smoked. Very good structure and texture and that all with a remarkably low alcohol percentage for this incredibly well balanced mixture of aroma’s.

Stygian black with a dark cocoa head. Aromas of chocolate and coffee wafts off the glass. The body is of tightly interwoven notes of dark, silken chocolate, coffee, and perhaps some licorice and oats.

deep dark brown with tan head... huge coffee aromas, taste the same. Coffee right up front, along with chocolate, lactose, big roast malts... soft carbonation and bitter finish. Bit on the thin side maybe, but cracking stout all the same.
