Pours black with dark brown medium sized head that dissipates. Aroma is "black malt’ with an amazing balance of coffee and some more roasted malts to increase complexity. Taste is light sweet, roasted malty, coffee, amazing balance again. Finish is dry, roasted coffee, just a little bit acrid in the aftertaste. Nice smooth medium bodied with light creamy texture and low carbonation. Nice roasted/malty brew!

What a treasure!! Pours beautiful opaque black with average creamy off-white head. Excellent lacing. Full bodied, average maltiness with chocolate, coffee and roasted aromas. Average hops, mostly pine. Definitely interesting adds of toffee and brown sugar with hints of burnt coffee beans. Complex, revealing, sophisticated imperial stout!

I was incredibly surprised by this Stout. It has the most wonderful aroma of coffee, toffee, chocolate, oats and smoked. Very good structure and texture and that all with a remarkably low alcohol percentage for this incredibly well balanced mixture of aroma’s.

Stygian black with a dark cocoa head. Aromas of chocolate and coffee wafts off the glass. The body is of tightly interwoven notes of dark, silken chocolate, coffee, and perhaps some licorice and oats.
