Cask, Keg & Bottled; Special - June to August 2013.
Note: Although the bottle is labelled 2.7%, it’s actually 2.8%, same as ther draught.

The goal was to create a beer with flavour, balance and body at only 2.8%, a Quarter IPA, QIPA if you will. Heavily hopped but with low bitterness this beer pops with notes of mango and grapefruit and is the perfect summer beer.

March 25, 2015. Bottle at home, best before may 31, 2015.
Clear golden with a large white head. Aroma is lots of grass, pine, mango, passionfruit, citrus and peach. Taste is light sweet biscuit and tropical fruits, medium bitter grassy and piney bitterness. Fruity and dry grassy bitter finish. Light bodied, average carbonation. A bit thin but very good for the low ABV.

24.1.2015. Hazy yellow-orange. Hoppy fruity aroma. Taste has exotic fruits, mango, pineapple. Very good for the abv but obviously it lacks backbone which leads to tangy bitterness.

GlasgowTAD (326) - Glasgow/Aberdeen, SCOTLAND - FEB 11, 2015
Pours a murky light-amber colour with a white, bubbly head which fizzles down to a small layer on top of the beer. Aroma is mango, passionfruit. Taste is initially citrusy like grapefruit, blood orange then mango with a smooth yet weak finish (as expected for this low-alco beer). Nice and not too watery, could enjoy many of these on a school night.

On tap at What’s Brewing. A dense, two-finger high off-white head forms over an unclear orange-colored body. The aroma has citrus peel, pine cones and a malty touch. Quite a lot of pine cones actually, but overall a tad weak. It has a medium body fullness, it’s dry and softly carbonated, with a good bitterness. Lasting finish. A refreshing and easy drinkable beer that avoids the aroma and flavor of bread dough so many beers at this ABV has. 141101

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear golden with a lively white head. Fresh citrusy hops in the nose, perhaps a tad metallic. Thin-bodied - naturally - a little fruitiness but otherwise it’s all about the hops. Leaves a dry finish with the good aroma hops dominating. 150115

Bottle bought @ Hemköp Majorna. Pours tiny hazy orangish golden with a frothy offwhite head that leaves lots of sticky lacing and trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity with bread, grapefruit juice, mango, moist grass, pine needles, minerals and lemon zest. Taste is bitter, grassy and tiny fruity with bread, grapefruit juice, mango, freshly cut grass, chives, pine needles, grapefruit pith, orange peal and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is soft, mealy, astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with bread, grapefruit juice, freshly cut grass, chives, pine needles, grapefruit pith and lemon zest. For 2.8% it’s amazing and I suspect it turns even fruitier fresh. Impressive for what it is…
