COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask, Keg & Bottled; Special - June to August 2013.
Note: Although the bottle is labelled 2.7%, it’s actually 2.8%, same as ther draught.

The goal was to create a beer with flavour, balance and body at only 2.8%, a Quarter IPA, QIPA if you will. Heavily hopped but with low bitterness this beer pops with notes of mango and grapefruit and is the perfect summer beer.

OMG! What a great session beer. Worth every penny. And I found it at the local grocery store in conservative Sweden. I wish just that more craft breweries would try to make more low alcohol beer with lots of taste. Getting pissed is such a waste.

Bottle from Beer Gonzo, Coventry. Huge pungent aroma of tropical fruits and grapefruit, it’s like a massive hop bomb is in store here. Looks nice in a pint glass! Taste is medium bitter, tonnes of grapefruit present with a slightly spicy finish. I like this, it’s refereshing and jammed full of flavour. For something that’s 2.8% it’s a pretty remarkable effort. Well done Siren.

This is a lovely low alcohol beer for taking it easy on a sunny day, fruity, not too bitter, be careful of the sediment at the bottom due to it being a malt heavy beer, it’s clear unless your getting near to the bottom and then it gets cloudy, no head, carbonation or lacing really, kind of mustard yellow colour, another sterling job by siren thanks guys, bottle at bottle shop.

500ml bottle. 2.8%. Clear orange golden amber colour, foam white head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of tropical passonfruit, mango, hop resin, orange & grapefruit. Taste is malt caramel balanced with fruity mango and floral grapefruit citrus bitterness, plus some woody pine. Smooth slightly creamy mouthfeel, light bodied, soft to medium carbonation, lingering dry hoppy bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Cask @ Greyfriar. Mid amber, little head. Tropical fruit aromas, which are more muted when tasted. Thin mouth-feel, but plenty of flavour. It was a mistake drinking this after Sound Wave and Liquid Mistress, but if I’d started here I’d be very impressed.
