Cask, Keg & Bottled; Special - June to August 2013.
Note: Although the bottle is labelled 2.7%, it’s actually 2.8%, same as ther draught.

The goal was to create a beer with flavour, balance and body at only 2.8%, a Quarter IPA, QIPA if you will. Heavily hopped but with low bitterness this beer pops with notes of mango and grapefruit and is the perfect summer beer.

330ml bottle from Ica Liljeholmen. Almost clear, amber, big creamy white head, leaves a lot of lacing. Hoppy nose, grapefruit and earthy yeast. Easy to drink, soft carbonated and gentle watering mouthfeel. The taste has grapefruit, orange, melon. Finish is bitter with grapefruit and citrus peel.

Keg at Birmingham Beer Bash. Full flavoured bitter hops and grapefruit with a thick head o’ foam. Hard to believe this is 2.6%. Outstanding.

Cloudy yellow/orange with a big fluffy white head. Classic IPA aromas & flavours... citrus, biscuity malts, pine... Pretty standard really, but rates so highly because you’d never know it was only 2.8% from the taste. Probably the best low ABV beer I’ve ever tried. Really tasty.

Légère, arômes très frais, désaltérante ... Vraiment, une bière sympathique assez florale et piquante ... Pas complexe, mais réconfortante par ces chaudes journées !

Big new hops, citrus, grapefruit, resin. With as good as a malt background gets at 2.8, probably a lot of darker base malt mashed high, the strong part of this beer is that it doesn’t completely disappear at 2.7%.

Sample at Tilquin English Beer Festival 2015 - Color: clear golden blond beer with no carbonation and small white foam. Smell: hoppy and grassy domination. Small floral finish. Taste: malt and well balanced with hops. Great balance and easy drinkable. Aftertaste: watery finish normal for a session IPA, wet bitterness.

Sample at Tilquin Englisch Beer Festival 2015. Thanks for sharing! APPEARANCE: light clouded blond beer. NOSE: very fruity and lost of hops, nose was absolutely amazing. TASTE: little dry, decently bitter and lots of hops, really enjoyed this one!

Keg @ Crown & Kettle, Manchester. Amber with a thin head and packs in plenty of tropical fruit aromas and flavours, however it’s disappointingly weak
