Cask, Keg & Bottled; Special - June to August 2013.
Note: Although the bottle is labelled 2.7%, itís actually 2.8%, same as ther draught.

The goal was to create a beer with flavour, balance and body at only 2.8%, a Quarter IPA, QIPA if you will. Heavily hopped but with low bitterness this beer pops with notes of mango and grapefruit and is the perfect summer beer.

Tap at Beergeek Bar. Surprisingly assertively hoppy. Ofc thin bodied but definitely not disturbingly so. Rich fruity tropical goppy flavour. Very good.

Small offwhite head. Clear amber body with light carbonation. Resiny gooseberry aroma with funky chalky notes. Bone dry fruity strawy taste with resiny chalky notes. Thin-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry resiny chalky aftertaste with fruity notes. Itís OK, but extremely dry. (0.2l draft at Mikkeller & Friends, Copenhagen.)

Draught @ Brewdog Södermalm. Hazy amber with a low/medium white head. Fantastic sweet fruity aroma for such a light beer. The flavors doesn't punch through as well though. Tropicsl fruits, caramel and hints of floral tones.

Bottle.Pours cloudy amber with no head. Nice arima of frass and trooical fruits smells as if its going to be good. Taste was bitter and hoppy. Over carbonated. Watery and largely tasteless. Not pleasant. Perhaps. Bad batch judging by other comments.

Gravity at the Nottingham Robin Hood Beer Festival. Pours amber with a thin layer of white suds. Nice sweet tropical grapefruit aroma. The taste has a good bit of hoppy grapefruit flavour too. Itís noticably watery at first, though this seems to improve after the first sip, becoming light and refreshing. Outstanding for such a low ABV beer.

2015-09-20. Crisp amber body, near headless. Aroma is mild, English malt character, touch of caramel and treacle. Flavour is malty with a decent bitterness as well. Average to light bodied palate, very low carbonation. Not much to it, possibly a bit stale? Disappointing. Tap vs cask not indicated, at Royal Navy Volunteer, Bristol.
