330mL bottle from Booze Bud. BB 120616 Deep bronze body, creamy beige head. Nice malty nose - quite roasty with burnt nutty toasty, almost liquorice-like with earthy, dried herbal hop notes. Chewy body, lovely fullness & weight. There’s a fair bit going on here - roast nuts, burnt sugar, earthy spice, licorice, meaty sort of charry notes,, bitter chocolate, black fruits, rasiny notes. Firm bitterness, drying finish. Really good!
