375ml bottle from Saveur Biere

Aroma promises good with its intensity. Deep brown look with a smooth beige foam. Good versatile mouth-filling taste. Small sourness, dryness and alcohol at mouth-feel. I like.

Bottle. Dark amber/brown with off white head. Some fusels in the aroma although not hot, petrol, rubber, plastic, some chocolate and biscuit, also floral and citrusy. Taste of resin, plastic, raisins, prunes flowers, biscuit, toffee, chemicals like rubber, caramel after taste. Slightly sweet/sticky, thin and bitter almost tangy. Has some wine like qualities and I liked it at first but ultimately it seems like a bit of a mess. Thereís far too much going on and itís a little all over the place. Too many aspects clash for me

Bottle from mane liquor. Pours a murky amber with minimal head. Nose is heavy oak, vanilla, and light fruit smell. Taste is very easy drinking considering itís 11%. Dark fruits, oak, vanilla and sweet mango. Definitely got better as it warmed up. Could do with some ageing.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours dirty amber with a small khaki head. Nose is stupidly oaky with plenty of juicy tropical fruits and sweet vanilla. Mild sugar and apples. So well rounded. As it warms dark fruits come out to play. You would never guess this is 11%. Taste is very dark fruit and tropical - date, raisin, mango, peach, nectarine. Loads of stone fruits with plenty of vanilla. Superb depth and roundness in this. Lacks that killer punch but itís made astoundingly well. Very good
