Craft Clerkenwell. Keg. Deep amber - red beer, small but persistent cream coloured head. Palate is comparatively light and dry and little crisp. Light malt base, touch of toffee. It seems like a fairly neutral base barleywine here, which I am guessing was the intention because it allows the excellent barrelling and blending to shine. Touch of Tequila limey tang, nice red wine fruits and a touch of bitter wood. This is followed by light fruity whisky and a vague mellow pink grapefruit. Finishes smooth and light with the red wine coming back almost Port like. Lovely. So pissed off that Ryan is pissing off.
