Bottle at Churchkey for the Night of the Living Ales #4, thanks to Travlr! Thanks Gene! Poured a light hazy golden color with a small off white head. Light funky orange notes, some light yeast character. Peaches. Wine barrel. Pretty enjoyable. Finished the bottle after everyone left.

Tap at CBC 2014. Beer in the glass brownish, dark orange. Small head. Sourish-malty aroma. Starts mild malty, modest sourish, more and more moldy-old, fruity hints of sweet peaches. Finish less sourish, still moldy. Not my favourite.

An hazy dark golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of peaches, lemons, hops, and brettanomyces. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, straw, brettanomyces, and wood, leading to a tart finish.

On tap at CBC 2014. Clear yellow with white head. Aroma and taste has brett, barn, saison yeast, wood, grapefruit, a tad astringent with light acidity that balances the sweetness.

Spent a long day traipsing the river in search of trout shaped fish, and kind gift from Ryan was sitting in my fridge, staring at me, asking me to be drunk. Brett, Peaches, hops and chardonnay barrels, what’s not to love. Pours hazy amber, to be expected. Peaches and an old brett whiff on the nose. very old brett for the age of the beer, but good way. The peaches were in the burp. Low to moderate carbonation ( heh, Jan) the bottle finished really well. not too much peach, for it to be a fruit beer. just enough booze for a buzz, but not getting in the way of a good drink, sharp enough for refreshment, as well as second glasses at the dinner table. I have a feeling a bit more age, and carbonation would make this beer reallllly sing. Impressive.
