2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle @ tasting, courtesy of jmgreenuk. Pours a murky, olive coloured beer with a very big white head on top. Aroma of light citrus and mostly moldy yeasty influences. Flavor is fairly bitter but has again this big yeasty background. Not very impressive, don’t like this yeasty background in my hoppy beers, should be more crisp and clean.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is sweet citrus fruit and a little creamy smooth grassy hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a strange liqourice bitter slightly alcoholic palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Great up front, but didn’t like the finish.

330 ml bottle.
Pours a hazy dark golden colour with a white foamy head. Aroma of sweet orange zest, white grapes and caramel. Rich flavour of floral bitterness, sweet orange zest, grass, strong yeastiness, dried apricot, green apples and some tartness. Medium bodied, rich mouthfeel and a bit foamy mouthfeel. Sweet, fruity, bitter and a bit foamy finish. Alcohol warms nicely. A yeasty Belgian IPA with strong bitterness and juicy fruitiness. Interesting.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from The Beerhive. Murky amber body with a medium white head. Great lacing. Aroma of caramel, mango, yeast and pepper. Flavour of crisp green apple, pear, spice and yeast. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Average carbonation. More or less what I was expecting - a hop bomb mellowed by the sweet Belgian yeast. Very nice.
