Cask conditioned and keg unpasteurised; Regular A 5.6% west coast IPA: golden, immensely hoppy and alive with grapefruit, peach and mango flavours. Soundwave carries her drinker to the west coast, to the golden shores of California where craft ale is nectar. She is the driest of Siren’s ales – full with flavour but subtle with bitterness. Her resinous finish will pull you off balance.

Bottle. Bright yellow gold with a thick fluffy white top. Nose of tropical fruits. Mango, pineapple, lemon. Taste is grapefruits, lemons, a light touch of caramel. There’s some peachy pleasantness. Easy drinking, lots of flavour. Yummy.

Light golden hazy pale ale, mango fruit aroma, lemony citrous flavour with a lightly hopped finish. There is a rather light feel to this ale overall, but is quite pleasant.

Hazy light pale with a thick frothy head, sticky airy lacings. Lots of mangoes, pineapple and cat piss on the nose. Flavour is light caramel malty, some straw, pine needles. Medium to low sweet with a bitter resiny finish. Soft carbonation, medium bodied, oily. Good but the fruits are more on the nose than on the tongue.

2015-09-22. Hazy pastel yellow body with a small white head. 3+ Aroma is mild, sweet lemony hops. Flavour is pleasant, nice pithy citrus, lemon and tangerines, hints at grapefruit. Sweetish pale malt in the case. Smooth average bodied palate, soft carbonation. On the mild side overall, it has a quality to it that makes it feel a bit like a diluted version of a bigger IPA but it’s still quite nice. On tap at Craft Beer Co. Clapham, London, UK.

Bottiglia @ Milano Beer Week.

Pours a hazy straw color with a small white head. Aroma of almost nothing, hints of wet bread. Flavors of citrus hops, herbs, grass, hints of bananas and white pepper. Light and refreshing, light bitterness and some pleasant flavors. Nice but nothing special.

Pours cloudy yellow with a huge foamy head. Aroma is loaded with pineapple and other citrus fruits. Delicious citrus flavours are followed up by a lovely, crisp, bitter finish.

A high class, state of the art IPA from Siren. Pours dark yellow with large fizzy lasting white head. Sparkling medium body, good lacing. Average malts, mostly grain and cereal. Heavy hops, floral, citrus, orange, grapefruit, lemon with hints of exotic fruits, dry-bitter aftertaste with average duration. Very refreshing, very drinkable, very West Coast as the ad description says.
