COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask conditioned and keg unpasteurised; Regular A 5.6% west coast IPA: golden, immensely hoppy and alive with grapefruit, peach and mango flavours. Soundwave carries her drinker to the west coast, to the golden shores of California where craft ale is nectar. She is the driest of Siren’s ales – full with flavour but subtle with bitterness. Her resinous finish will pull you off balance.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a hazy gold with a finger of foam. Nice orange and grapefruit aromas all over the nose. Some faint peach and orange on the palate. Big bitter bite on the finish. Slightly oily on the palate. Decent, but would like to try it on tap.

Bottle @ home, split two wyas. Cloudy golden pour with a generous head. Notes of citrus, mangoes, grapefruit, light caramel, orange zest and a resinous finish.

From Brewcraft. Drank with Matt at home before 28 Sands. Hazy gold-beige pour with creamy white head that dissipates. Smells of very tangy citrus fruit, tangerine and lime, light peach, moderate lightly grassy wet hop. Taste is very very dry hop, moderate resin bitterness, finishes tangy. Body is medium, bitter, medium sour fizzier finish. Aggressive astringency plus citrus fruit makes this almost taste like a sour beer. Much more resin bitterness in the taste than nose. Pretty good! But not great.

Bottle from Brewcraft at home. Hazy dull golden pour with puffy white head. Aroma is sharp green fruit juice - bitter and sour. Taste is similar - dry white wine on a mellowing light malt. Quite tart and dry finish. Nice slightly unusual IPA

Very straight forward, balanced version of the WCIPA. Stone fruit, peach, etc etc, semi dry finish, disappears cleanly.
