Cask conditioned and keg unpasteurised; Regular A 5.6% west coast IPA: golden, immensely hoppy and alive with grapefruit, peach and mango flavours. Soundwave carries her drinker to the west coast, to the golden shores of California where craft ale is nectar. She is the driest of Siren’s ales – full with flavour but subtle with bitterness. Her resinous finish will pull you off balance.

Bottle from Drinkstore. Another really great brew from Siren. Stands head and shoulders above most of the competition.

Hazy, orange colour, medium head and nice lacing. Quite intensive aroma of exotic fruits, some resin and citrus with pleasant malty background. Taste is medium sweet, over medium bitter with long bitter finish. Pleasant hoppy aftertaste too. Low to medium carbonation. Over medium body. Rich, drinkable and refreshing IPA. Really good stuff.

[Reading Beer Festival, 2015] -Siren Craft Soundwave, 5.6%. Gelbgolden trüb, luftige Krone. Milde süßliches Grapefruitaroma, spürbare Kräuter. Mittlerer Körper, noch erkennbar wässrig. Zunächst von Kräutern überlagerte Grapefruit, trocken, leicht bitter, ganz leicht harzig. Florale Note. Zur Mitte vor allem floral, Frucht verschwindet zusehends. Abgang hopfenbitter, trocken. Bitterkeit im Nachhall mittellang. Ordentliches, nicht sehr fruchtiges IPA.

Cask at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Pours clear yellow with a fine, bubbly white head. Tangy lemon nose, with some other citrus fruit accents. Medium sweet flavor with notes of straw, lemon and big tangerine. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish with some lemon rind, more tangerine, more straw. Nice one.

Bottle, home, 26th June 2015, from Marks and S, Chelmsford. Poured into IPA glass. Nice orange haze. White lacing. Looks awesome. Aroma is oranges, clementines, mangoes, lemons and peach. An abundance of fruity flavours too. Very much the same. Loads of mangoes, lemons, orange peel, some clove, stunning orange tart, superb biscuit malt base. Very very clean. So damn easy to drink! I will miss you Ryan!
