COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask conditioned and keg unpasteurised; Regular A 5.6% west coast IPA: golden, immensely hoppy and alive with grapefruit, peach and mango flavours. Soundwave carries her drinker to the west coast, to the golden shores of California where craft ale is nectar. She is the driest of Siren’s ales – full with flavour but subtle with bitterness. Her resinous finish will pull you off balance.

Pint on keg in CBC COvent Garden. Bright cloudy orange amber with a big pithy looking white to off white head. Nose is sharp citrus, grapefruit, lemon, tropical fruit mango, flinty minerals, pine, sharp acidic hop. Taste is sharp bitter hop, citrous grapefruit, lemon, mango, pine, green hop acids. It’s nice and hoppy, possibly shading into too sharp bitter for me.

Pâle dorée, nez floral prononcé et agréable, plutôt bonne mais pas des mieux balancée à mon goût, amertume et pointe sèche trop en avant en bouche. A réessayer. Bouteille achetée chez Chop’In, Paris, France, bue le 27/02/2015.

Bottle from Wine Emporium 240215. Big hit of citrus and fresh pine needles in the aroma. Hazy dirty looking orange colour with a reasonable if not somewhat space head. Flavour is good and goes down a treat.

Bottle 33cl. Cloudy pale amber, good foamy white head, dissipates slowly, thick layer remains, good lacing; strong citrus aroma, grapefruit, lime, pine; taste moderate to light heavy bitter, light sweet fruity notes, grapefruit; medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, aftertaste medium dry bitter, fruity notes, pine, smooth finish; nice and smooth IPA, not too bitter.

Bottle. Nose is satsuma, pineapple, spruce, grapefruit; very enticing. Taste is very strong grapefruit, leading to a sharp bitterness, more grapefruit and grapefruit rind. Pine emerges from the taste and there is a sharp lemon bitter pepperiness to the finish. Mouthfeel might be a touch thin. This is a very good beer which has an outstanding nose.

Cask conditioned at The Cock Tavern. Fruity and hoppy aroma. Very well balanced flavor, it has grainy sweetness, citric notes, refreshing bitterness and a soft yeasty note. Very good american style IPA.
