COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask & Bottle conditioned and keg unpasteurised; Regular
A 4.5% pale ale with spicy, grassy aromas and a taste of grapefruit and apricot. Undercurrent is part pale, part oats and part caramel barley. Her swirls of bold, bready and nutty malt whirl into a concoction of spicy, citrus, floral hops. Mystery lurks in those cascade and palisade hops. Her silky, creamy body will pull you under.

The aroma of tropical fruits, grass and flowers. The taste is the same but with a little citrus and caramel. Lovely bitterness that fills the mouth forever. Absolutely stunning good beer that gets me to extend to summer already. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Bottle conditioned. Thin white head. Gentle carbonation visible. Hazy gold body. Hops, wheat, fruit, nuts, perfume, Turkish Delight. Gentle bitterness. Dry finish. Watery palate. For Siren, this was a bit meh.

Bottle at the Fisherman’s Cottage, Reading. Pours a rather murky pale amber with a middling white head and a very light fizz. Loads of hops here- grapefruit, flowers and pine are the flavours they give, with maybe a shy hint of mango. The hoppiness makes it more of a sipping beer than you’d expect for this strength. It maybe lacks a little richness in the mouth and could do with the malt showing through a bit more, but that’s a criticism I could level at many APAs. Overall though this yet another fine beer from Siren, with a particularly long-lasting and pleasant floral hoppy aftertaste.

0.33l bottle. Looks quite inviting and nice in the glass this. It has a nice big really lacing off-white, almost beige looking head on top of a mild cloudy deep orange almost nut brown colored body. Lots if freshness on the nose. It’s fruity with peaches and grass, but also quite malt sweet. Lots of sweet red berries, some nuts, red caramel and it just took me a little by surprise this aroma. Really enjoying it! In the mouth this has a good oily almost gliding mouthfeel and it’s just below average carbonation on the bubbles. Tastes quite good as well. I get lots of black currents here! Raspberries as well. Almost like drinking a juice with misc berries. It has a really full and impressive mouthfeel for such a lightweighter. Some dark bready tones before A strong grassy finish with tones of citrus and grapefruit zest. Yeah, I’d have no problems drinking this again. A nice session beer indeed. 16.04.2014
