A 4.5% pale ale with spicy, grassy aromas and a taste of grapefruit and apricot. Undercurrent is part pale, part oats and part caramel barley. Her swirls of bold, bready and nutty malt whirl into a concoction of spicy, citrus, floral hops. Mystery lurks in those cascade and palisade hops. Her silky, creamy body will pull you under.

Amber with a small head that slowly dissipates. Notes of fruity, pineapple, hops. Complex flavourings coming through. Very smooth. Good pint (from Keg / Fitzgerald's Newcastle) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask at The Allied Arms Reading. Pours cloudy. Quite bitter with loads of flavour but nothing too overpowering. Another top job from Siren.

Bottle at home. Pours a clear amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of grass, nettle and funky hop. Taste is sweet to start, then fiercely bitter. Juicy malt base with some caramel, orange marmalade and a refreshing sharpness. Good mouthfeel and well carbonated. A nice drinkable strength, this is a beer I definitely will return to.

330mL bottle from Booze Bud. BB 27/07/16 Golden-orange body, creamy white head persists. Good nose - biscuity caramel malts, cooked citrus, pine, woody hop spice. Medium-full bodied, very smooth & slick, clings to the palate somewhat. Well-balanced body - touch of sweetness from light toffee & biscuit malt, well-measured bitterness from grapefruity, stonefruity, piney sort of American hops. Lovely stuff!

Bouteille 33 cl - couleur blonde, mousse très légére, nez sur l’agrume. Gout : agrume, litchi, avec un léger goût de caramel sur la fin. Assez rafraichissante, assez étonnante

Draught keg at the Greyfriar in Reading. Dry, with lots of body and restrained hop character. An odd aftertaste which is a touch fruity. Oatmeal seems much better suited to stouts.

Light amber, hazy, low creamy head. Aroma cereal and light citrusy. Palate slick and creeamy and very smooth thanks to the oats given its plato. Low carbonation. Taste citrus, pine resin, grains. Actually a very good beer and good choice as a session beer. Can drink this anytime.
