3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Small head and soft carbonation. light colour and body.
the aroma is not very strong though, you can smell some floral and some malty flavours, but it mostly has a grassy and mossy aroma.
The taste as well is lightly citrus/floral with a bit of malt sweetness, but then it comes with a super strong grassy bitterness which is predominant and very persistent.
I think this beer is a bit too unbalanced in my opinion, because this grass bitterness is really killing everything else in it, and it’s a bit astringent. But it still is an interesting and different beer compared to the classic pale ales, which will definitely do a great job to kill the thirst in a hot day, and will please the fanatics of strong bitterness.
p.s. while drinking it and looking at the label, I thought that if it was called "Enchanted Forest Fairy" it would have definitely matched better with its taste and character. ;)
