Vestergaard (617) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - FEB 13, 2015
Bottle. Pours a medium sized clear, light amber with a small white head. Aroma has fresh citrussy hops, sweeter bourbon and vanilla. Slight boozy. Some hints of chocolate. Taste has lots of lemon and lime, bourbon, vanilla, oaky dryness, hoppy bitter end, sweet and sour citrus fruits. Really fruity and somewhat successful.

Bottle from Mikkeller Web Shop. Hazy orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, heavy lemon, wood and moderate hoppy - citrus. Flavor is quite sweet, light sour and rather bitter. Sweet, light sour and rather bitter finish with some alcohol. Oily. Strange beer, but then again I wasn’t a fan of the base beer. 020215

ElManana (653) - Scheldewindeke, BELGIUM - JAN 27, 2015
Bottle bought at De Koninck. Pours golden almost orange, no head. Funky smell, honey, herbs, lemon, little chemical candy. Taste is little sour, lemon, boy this is some experimental stuff.

erickok (3970) - Tours (and Paris), FRANCE - JAN 20, 2015
This is an odd one. Golden body and small head. Sourish, salty, fermenting fruit, honey. Hop water, sour, herbal, mead like. Strange one but very original. Barrel aging wouldn’t have been necessary, but I still find this intriguing. (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

omhper (20341) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JAN 13, 2015
Bottled, from Systembolaget. Cloudy amber, small head.Bourbon and lemon zest. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Simplistic juicy whiskey sour flavour. Some grapefruit peels bitterness and tingling alcohol. Kind of refreshing, but disturbingly shallow and cool. Skillfully composed perhaps, but lacking soul and taking beer a direction I don’t admire.

Slightly hazy honeyed gold, no head. Honey and lemon on nose. Fruity and citric. Acidic lemon balanced by caramel and vanilla. No carbonation, easy drinking, warming, tart pithy finish

[6939-20141129] Bottle. Mild barrel aroma. Slightly hazy, pale brown orange body with a quick foamy white head. Barrel woody sour flavour has a lingering woody aftertaste. Medium body. Good. (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4
Overheard: "Pairs well with milk bone. Delicious with catnip."

Lukasmh (285) - Aarhus, DENMARK - DEC 23, 2014
Bottle. Pours hazy orange with small thick white head. Aroma is orange rock candy. Lemon, orange, oaky vanilla and tart fruits. A subtle hint of fruity hops. Taste is sweet fruits, acidic orange - acidic/sweet. Some green apples, exotic hops. Finish is zesty and dry, Tart but cream lactose-like mouth fell. Exciting but not an IPA, has no bitterness. Nice interpretation and we’ll executed. Has no alcohol, but the oily feel from it.

Jaksmart (454) - Aarhus, DENMARK - DEC 21, 2014
Bottle. Somewhat hazy orange color, small white head. Aroma is pure whisky sour, hard candy, sugar, grape and lots of acidity as well, some piney freshness, but otherwise not a lot of hops. Also some oaky vanilla and woody stuff. Taste is mild and sweet with an acidic tint, not much bitterness. Creamy and easy in the body, with a long and mild finish - alcohol not really dominant. delicious. Tartness and subtelty.
