Tessic (413), Brantford, Ontario, Canada Oct 25, 2008 This ??? poured a light yellow colour with a very quick living head. Scents include...yeast and creamed corn. First taste was watery as hell with the corn flavours shining through but only slightly.finish was bland and corny. Plalate is the most watery mess that I’ve ever tasted. popephred (141), Plainfield, Illinois, USA Aug 3, 2008 poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Pour produced a pale yellow body with a thin head of white foam, which quickly and totally diminished. Some earthiness to the nose. Slightly sweet to the taste with a watery body and no mouthfeel. Some honey notes to the palate, quickly fleeing toward nothingness. This was a thoroughly disappointing beer and would suggest to anyone looking at this bottle in the liquor store divert their gaze to something more satisfying, like Miller Lite. SpudClampDawg (960), Jasper, Indiana, USA Jul 27, 2008 12oz beer: Honey gold pour with a thin head that sticks around for longer than expected. Corny nose displays lots of vegetal notes, dirty hay and grass. The body drinks light, like an American light beer. Watery, thin body offers little in the flavor department, but does quench the thirst on this hot day. Some straw, fleeding honey and more light grass in the finish. Refreshing but so is water. phishpond417 (1521), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Jun 17, 2008 Not pleasent at all. Pours a clear yellow colour, very watery, no head and a strong aroma of straw or dirt. im not sure what it was. at 3.6% it was very tempting to pour it all out. pumpkinheart (63), Aurora, Illinois, USA May 19, 2008 Bottle into English pint glass. Pours the palest of yellows with enough carbonation to float a boat. Head was airy and white. Went away quickly and left no trace of it’s short life behind. Aroma was, ummm, water? Maybe water cut with stale white bread. Flavor was a little bitter, but not like a nice, hoppy bitter. Just bitter and bland. Mouthfeel was like everything else: not much, which is the most commendable thing about this brew. I do now know that I can avoid this when I travel to China on business later this year. Overall, I wasted my time drinking it and rating it. Please save yourself the trouble.
