Clear medium orange amber colour with a average, frothy, good to fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, marzipan malt, nectar. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120505]

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Pale copper colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, mildly nectary with some slight maltyness. Flavour is fruity, floral, wooden and herbal.

Cask handpull, Whitefriars, Coventry, 27/04/12. Clear bronze under a white halo. Damp woodland aroma, beeswax. Mealy, watery digestive taste; aniseed hints, decaying leaf matter. Soporific.
