On cask (handpump) at the Crosse Keys (JDW), City of London on 13 April 2011. Mid gold / amber colour – wouldn’t exactly call it rich copper. Quite flowery aroma. Soft and fruity on the palate. More flowery notes in the flavour. Some biscuity malt in the background. Tasty enough but, as with a number of these flowery beers that seem to be springing up with regularity, I would prefer a little more bitter bite. Just my personal preference though.
