[Bottle] Clouded orangey amber hue, moderate head formation. Intense oily chilli pepper aroma. Chilli peper very strong on the palate too, with a little lemony balance underneath. Interesting for the strength of the chilli, accentuated by the light bodied wheat beer. I have a strong tolerance for spice but some will have a hard time finishing this. It’s a bad balance of stong chilli and light beer to call this anything other than a gimmick.

Not for heat babies very earthy beer, nice chili pepper flavor that is rounded out nicely by the wheat heart making the spiciness turn more into one of the best chili pepper ales around

Golden color with not much of a head. Pungent red pepper aroma. Tastes exactly like someone soaked a red or green pepper in your pilsner. The pepper taste is a bit overwhelming. If they had toned it down a bit, it would have been a nice spicy summer ale.

Hazy gold pour with a thick but fast fading white head. aroma was malted wheat, more of a sweet green bell pepper aroma. flavour was mostly jalapeno. very ’green’ vegetable tasting. some nice latent heat in the finish

This beer pours a clear urine colored yellow. The nose is very spicy and peppery. Super spicy palate and the spice overtakes almost every other note. The love that I have for spicy peppers ups my rating of this beer, however, I feel it might be a little too much for some individuals.

Bomber from the Elk Grove BevMo. Note: bottle has chili, not chile. Pours hazy orange gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is definitely chili pepper. The wheat hasn’t got a chance. Med body. Flavor is spicy! Reasonably hot! Joet wrote it lacks utility. I’m sure it could be used as a rub for sore muscles. Kidding aside, it might go well with some bland burrito or similar. With a little time the palate accomodates. But I think this is going to interfere with rating another beer in the near future.

A really good chile beer. Roasted chile flavors all over. Gimmicky? It’s a good thing but spicy and lacks utility. Hard to rate because of this.

From Hayduke in a trade. Shared, with Rick, in a facebook chat. This beer pours a hazy orange golden with no head at all. They were not kidding about this being peppery and spicy. It is both and both are big. Some beers use a variety of hops but this one uses a variety of peppers. At the end a big garlic splash is noted. They pretty much overwhelm the taste buds so that subtlety cannot be ascertained. For someone who loves hot peppers, this is a really good beer. It does a great job of highlighting the peppers. Not being a "pepperhead," I wouldn’t want another one. Ron said it would be interesting and he was right. Pair it with Mexican food and it would be a winner.
