An old rating i finally got to entering. Aroma was a light funky and fruity. Had a little papery flavor to it. A little stale and not very fruity. Not very good at all or really all that sour.

GABF 2008 poured a hazy red with a small lingering pink head. Aromas of tart raspberries with some yeast notes. Palate was light bodied and crisp with atart finish. Flavors of tart raspberries, light yeast and a hint of wood with a crisp lingering tart fginish.

GABF 2008. An intensely fresh raspberry nose, so fresh it reminded me of the fresh fruit cuvees we made at the Muddy Pig’s Belgian beer festival. The body was very tart and had a vegetal bite that again reminded me of incredibly fresh raspberries.

GABF’08. Labeled just Frambozen at the fest, very different than the previous years ratings. Pours beautifully with a hazy red color. Aroma is all fresh raspberry with that fresh sourness from the raspberries. has a lively taste with a light sour bite behind that. Some faint earthiness back there as well.
