Black color with tan sheen. Big medium roast coffee, milk chocolate aromas with mild tobacco. Medium body with average co2. Lightly sweet chocolate, coffee flavors with some tobacco--good

This beer was a good dark porter. It has a strong coffee taste. The aftertaste is a little bitter but not overwhelming. Overall good porter.

A heavy, ashy nose. Taste is very firey up front, with some sour and bitter in the middle. Overall not bad but not much of a coffee flavor in it.

(Bottle) Pours black with a creamy pale brown head. The aroma holds clear notes of wet ground coffee, dark chocolate, dark caramel, brown sugar, wet tobacco and dark fruits. Undertones of hazelnut/nutshell, vanilla yoghurt, Christmas spices, dark grainy bread, salt liquorice, black/blue berry jam, gravel, green bell pepper/green fresh vegetables and earthy hops. The flavor is light sweet, light to medium bitter and tiny acidic with notes of coffee, chocolate, dark caramel, nuts, earth, tobacco, brown sugar, milk, grassy/earthy hops and hints of dark fruits. The mouthfeel is soft, light tart and tiny oily with a light carbonation. Caramel, chocolate, earthy coffee, tobacco and a touch of light bitter hops on the finish. Near medium bodied.

Bottle. Pours black with a medium, fizzy tan head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is earthy coffee and hops, dark fruity esters, roast and chocolate malt. Flavor is malt dominant with light hops and bitterness, roast sourness and a dry finish. Medium body, warmth and carbonation.

651mL thanks to beerandblues2. Deep, clear, super deep red pour with a mild beige head. Soapy retention. Nose is super green, vegetal, spicy chili pepper, sweet toffee, Marmite/Vegemite. Taste is watery, tangy, big lemon tea, mild spicy pepper. Mouthfeel is powdery and thin. Tangy, savory tea character. Odd. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber. Pours nice with a full head, and very dark brown. Coffee in the nose for sure when taking a drink. This to me is a very good fusion of a porter and coffee. Like a previous rating, this seems to be exactly what they were going for. A nice change up from a run of the mill porter.

Goddamn this ish was great! I love me a good coffee porter, and while this wasn’t totally blowing my mind away or anything, it sit pleasantly in that "we just made a really good beer that fits the style we went for" catagory. Roasty malts and burnt coffee on the nose. Nice black pour, tanned frothy head. Smooth flavor, but definitely hitting you with nice bitter coffee tannins, while mixing burnt chocolate hints in there as well. Mochay you could say. Pleasant lingering finish of all flavors combined. Yum!
