3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 tongatim (25) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - SEP 12, 2009I’m not a big fruit beer fan, but this was very tasty. What I enjoyed most was the lack of excess sweetness, the lambic tartness and the incredible freshness and flavor of the raspberries.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 5000 (4974) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - NOV 26, 2011
Bottle:   Pinkish champagne pour, reddish in the glass, large pinkish fizzy head, dies quickly, lacks
lacing, very super strong carbonation.   As I put my nose in the glass I am greeted with bursts of beer as the
bubbles rise to the top of the glass.   Very fizzy!   Artificial Raspberry aroma... but wasnt really expecting
anything else.   At least its pretty strong.   Raspberry syrup on the tongue.   Very fizzy, and
overcarbonated.   Not as good as some of the other candyish lambics, but its not bad.   As long as you expect
artificial flavors, then you are fine.   Moderate body and mouthfeel... *BURP*!
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Beerman6686 (3125) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 14, 2011
This poured a bright red to purple color with a pnksh head. Aroma was lots and lots of artificial raspberries and some strong stronf carbonation, almost burning the nose. flavor was way over carbonation, stings the tongue and overly sweet and artificial. Definitely makes me realize why some say no american beer should be called a lambic.
1.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 mrhoppy (867) - Santa Clara, California, USA - OCT 9, 2011
Fruit beers aren’t easy to make. First impression I get is raspberry sweet tarts. It says 500 pounds of berries on the label but the taste is artificial. Not much of a beer presence at all. Really it’s like a raspberry cider. The carbonation is way way overdone and none of it is natural from the beer making process. Faux fruit beer. I will now add an authentic German hefe to see if it makes it worth drinking. Otherwise it is a drain pour.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 riversideAK (5413) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - SEP 8, 2011
Nice raspberry nose, a little dusty yeast, perhaps lightly tart, but mostly nice and fruity. Pours bright raspberry red, huge reddish pinkish head, like almost foams out of the glass and then disappears. Weird. Flavor of fresh raspberry throughout, light fresh tartness, a little dusty yeast. Fruity, nice effervescence. Not bad, but had this at GABF and it was fucking awesome. For this reason, I will add a couple points to my bottle score to reflect this. Fuck the haters.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 marcus (5005) - Sacramento, California, USA - AUG 29, 2011
Bottle from Beer Revolution. Pours dark red with a massive pink head that disappears right away and a funky raspberry aroma. There is a tart cherry flavor with lots of carbonation and sourish finish.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 bhensonb (8995) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 29, 2011
Bomber shared by Marcus. Pours an outrageous pinkish head that was gone in 60 seconds or less. Pour is very red. Compares to my avatar. Flavor is very raspberry and lightly tart. There’s enough seed bitter to balance. Nice beer.

22oz bottle. Rating #31. Real pretty beer, clear, dark ruby red with an initial frothy pink head that went away pretty quickly. Fresh raspberry aroma, sweet and very nice. Moderate fruity flavor, lots of raspberries of course and quite a bit of carbonation. (1873)
