3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Taps in Petaluma. Pours a brown color with a fine head. Some hop flavors at the start that dissipate quickly through the taste to leave just the maltiness.

Moderately hoppy and drinkable. On tap at my local pub. Dry hoppy finish, pours a bold dark amber and clear. Pretty good offering from a small brewery

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On drat at the brewery. Big grassy character up front, resiny, caramel malts. I would enjoy a lot more hop flavor and aroma. Clean and not bad overall.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours reddish copper with a modest beige head and a strange aroma like sweaty sox and garlic. There is a hearty caramel malt flavor with a carbonated bitter finish. Not bad.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance was clear orangish caramel with creamy off white diminishing 1 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are soft grapefruit, pine, orange, lemon, and resin for hops. Sweet pale, caramel malt backbone. Taste was smooth fruity hops of lemon, grapefruit, pine, orange, melon with hints of resin, the sweet malty backbone. Palate was creamy soft CO2 with meduim body, lasting soft fruity sweet malty balanced dryish finish. A not-typical west coast DIPA more of a East coast IPA...

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. A reddish brown color with an off-white head. I was surprised by the double IPA designation as it seemed more like an American Strong Ale. The sweet malts came through equally with a hop profile in both the aroma and flavor. Chalk it up to being so well balanced.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft. Hazy orangish pour with a medium whitish head. Citrusy and tropical aroma with sweet malt evident. Very sweet flavor for a CA DIPA with caramel, citrus, and tropical fruit. Very full bodied and malty. OK.
