Six Row’s Honey Weizen is an easy drinking wheat beer made with a generous portion of honey from Missouri Honey in Florissant, Missouri! With a combination of white wheat malt, honey malt, and locally produced honey, the unfiltered Honey Weizen is a great example of a traditional wheat beer with a twist. The sweetness of the honey is balanced by Saaz hops, sure to please the discerning wheat beer lover and craft beer novice alike.

Pour is a dark bronze with a small white head. Aroma is definite honey with some wheat malt and even a bit of light spice. Flavor is a touch of honey and grainy malt along with some butterscotch. Finish is both sweet and a bit sour. Honey beers are a big meh to me but this one was above par but that sourness at the end knocked it down a few points.

Draft. Nose is dominantly clove. Pour is fairly clear with a large white head. Taste is very phenolic and slightly more than just clove. Seems a touch medicinal. Overall it’s just kinda mediocre.
