Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans... and put them in one vessel. The beans of bygone brewers, united with cacao and coffee, to create a trinity of roasted, rich, and savory flavors.

Can. Pours hazy, dark brown with average, creamy beige head; short spare lacing. Aroma is coffee, roasted and caramel malts, earthy and spicy hops, figs, dates, and light chocolate. Flavor is roast malts forward with supporting espresso, dark fruit esters, woody notes, earthy hops, and light ash; dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Very dark brown pour with a creamy tan head. Aroma is chocolate and coffee. Flavor is coffee and both milk and dark chocolate, with bitter coffee predominating. Very smooth and drinkable. my favorite coffee porter to date.

Pours a fluffy, consistent cream colored head. Color is a clear, ruby dark brown. Foam recedes after a couple of minutes. Smells faintly of coffee and roasted malt, Tastes much more robust than I was expecting after the lighter-than-expected color. Smooth, up front coffee and chocolate, slight vanilla, roasty, slightly smoky; boozy but expectedly so. Taste stays on the back of my tongue for several minutes. NOM

Dark color, big fluffy of white head. Is slight, not too powerful, just like a fresh cup of coffee. Flavor is surprisingly better calm a very rough, almost like the coffee is an old cup of McDonald’s. The power it is also very minimally and slightly burnt. Not too big of a fan.

This is a huge booming porter. Doesn’t sit too heavy on the tongue like a stout or cloying sweetness (although I do enjoy those things). A beautiful beer to behold and excellent to drink. Very boozy for 10%, so strong. Flavor profile improves with sittting at room temperature. Complex coffee malts with bitter chocolate make this a winner.

Can from Capone’s. Pours very dark brown with some head that fades. nose is sweet with brown malt, notes of caramel and toasted marshmellow. First sip is similar but more roasted flavors and smooth coffee flavors. nice mouth feel, finish is a nice coffee bitterness.

From a 12 oz can into a tulip. Bought at The Beer Shoppe. Pours a light brown with a ton of frothy white head but little residual lacing. Very deep and rich aroma. Plenty of rum, coffee, peach and spice. Decent amount of OH as well. Mouthfeel is very light, like a brown ale but still keeps good drinkability. Taste really opens up as it sits. Coffee is primary with lots of alcohol and dirt. Mix with cough syrup and cocoa and there it is. Glad to have tried it but not my favorite. This is one where personal tastes will dictate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Okay, okay, pretty nice brew here. I’ll always pick up a brew that is brewed with coffee! Quite roasty! High acidity due to the addition of coffee. Probably a little too bitter with a bit too much ash on the end. ABV well hidden. Nice to try, not sure about re-buy.
