Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans... and put them in one vessel. The beans of bygone brewers, united with cacao and coffee, to create a trinity of roasted, rich, and savory flavors.

Can. Pours dark brown, with a light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, and chocolate. Flavor is roasted malt, coffee, alcohol, and chocolate. Body is medium, with a long finish. Very nice.

Can. Pours brown with a persistent cream head with thick lacing. Vanilla and astringent cherry nose. No real coffee on the nose,no roast. Taste is very bitter but smooth chocolate. Long tasting bitter palate. Bit of booze on the end at the same time that the coffee starts to shine through, but they clash. Pretty disappointing.

Tap at Churchkey. Pours a deep, reddish ruby. Medium tan foam. Big, webby lacing. Mega sharp gritty work coffee nose...moves to some sour cherry. Taste is spicy, hazelnut, vanilla, mega gritty work coffee with coffee filter. Palate is a tad gritty and papery, but thankfully not watery or astringent. Not my style of beer, could be confused with an actual cup of coffee and Iím not a coffee drinker. Although I love good stouts that have coffee flavors and complexity. Making a cup of coffee into a beer is not the way to achieve that go.

12 oz. can from Total Wine in Virginia Beach, VA. Dark brown cola-like pour. Rich roasted coffee dominates the nose with faint floral hops in the background. Dark cacao beans and espresso are abundant in the flavor. Slight heat from the alcohol is detected after a few sips. Really nicely done.

12oz can, purchased at Downer Wine & Spirits. Pours a dark brown color with a tan head and a little bit of lacing. Aroma is chocolately, roasty, coffee. Medium to heavy on the palate with soft, creamy carbonation. Flavor is sweet, milk chocolate, bitter coffee, burnt toast, some grassy hops, with a bittersweet chocolate finish. This beer is good, but I feel like it is just a touch short in a few areas. A little heavier on the palate, a little more complexity in the flavor, and this would be world class.

The taste of this beer is very enjoyable. It starts off with a chocolate taste followed by the coffee flavor and ends with a sweet combination of the two flavors. They compliment each other well. You can tell by tasting tho beer that it is strong (10%). Overall it is a great beer and I will be buying it again!! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Black with fluffy khaki head. Nose is a little weak, metallic and a touch of coffee. Taste opens with a strong coffee and roasted malt notes and a sweet chocolaty finish. Brief metallic twinge. Smooth with a lively carb. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour from can..pretty good 1 finger head..aroma on this is delightful..like a cross of chocolate milk infused coffee drink...spiked with a shot of espresso and some French vanilla cream on the side..palate and mouthfeel are remarkably smooth...absolutely no trace of the 10 anywhere..which is quite shocking...extremely smooth..tasty..and obviously packs a punch even though it is cleverly disguised..quite impressed by this offering..very good all around...definitely worth picking up...

12 ounce can. Big carbonated pour. Creamy and milk chocolate. Coffee and some roast. High ABV is not present. Very smooth. Maybe their best beer.

Iím a sucker for any brew with coffee added. Sixpoint did not disappoint. Tall, thin can poured into a rounded pint glass. A bit lacking on the aroma. Subtle coffee & cacao notes. A bit lacking on the appearance, also. I figured that this would be a thick, opaque beer. The glass allows for some light to come through, a deep dark brown, nonetheless. Flavor is right on point. Deep, rich coffee and dark chocolate flavor. Nice creamy mouthfeel. perfectly balanced with bitterness on the finish. Very drinkable and dangerous at 10.0% (nicely hidden abv, by the way).
