This is one of the best stout beers I've ever had. It is packed with flavor and hits on all cylinders. I was a big skeptic of the can, but this one is done right. It's by far one of my favorites to recommend. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Beautiful pour ... deep, dark and reddish black, with a cascading head of tight foam. Definitive coffee aroma ... drinks like a strong cup of java, rich, dark, brooding. Great beer. (#5019, 5/12/2013)

12 oz can. Dark reddish brown with tan head. Aroma of fresh green coffee, milk chocolate and roasted malt. Taste is rich, sweet, roasted malt, green coffee, some tangy notes and milk chocolate. Very nice and smooth.

Very dark brown pour with a creamy tan head. Aroma is chocolate and coffee. Flavor is coffee and both milk and dark chocolate, with bitter coffee predominating. Very smooth and drinkable. my favorite coffee porter to date.

Can. Very good strong coffee beer. Thick, deep brown color, smooth, lots of coffee taste.

Pours almost completely black with only a small tinge of red on the edge of the glass when held up to the light. Strong roasty aromas, green coffee, some floral hops. Very, very bitter taste, but it stems not from the hops, but from the immense amount of coffee in this beer. Jesus. I can’t imagine how much caffeine this thing has in it. This is basically cold, carbonated coffee with a shot of liquor in it. That being said, its also pretty good. Worth a try.

3Beans pours a opaque rich brown black with a sturdy lasting head of small bubbles. Nose is rich dark chocolate and black coffee, a heady mix of awesomeness. Taste is dark chocolate bitter on the front mellowing with good malt in the mid taste. This beer finishes with more good dark chocolate black coffee on the back end. There is just a bit of minerally kick on the front end that I’;m not crazy about. the whole thing works amazingly well. a fantastic beer.

12 oz can - pours opaque brown with a big, full, fluffy creamy white-tan head. Big aromas of espresso, roasted malts and nuts, sweet coffee and cocoa. Fragrant and delicious. Taste is roasted coffee at the end, sweet chocolate with a bitter finish, with dried dark fruit in the middle. Blind, one might mistake this for an iced espresso. Lighter bodied and delicious. Not heavy and no burn. Yes!

This one starts with a big chocolate aroma, and pours an opaque black with a full light tan head. Great big roasted notes, come through in this beer, with a slick mouthfeel and a lingering roasted finish. There’s a touch of alcohol heat noticeable, but it’s not overpowering. This is a really good chocolate coffee porter, and I highly recommend it.

New Beer Distributors, NY 12oz ($3.60): Pours near black with a nice tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, sweet, semi-dark chocolate. and of course freshly brewed coffee. Taste is sweet chocolate and coffee grounds. This is on the sweeter side of things, but manageable so. Aftertaste is mild but definitely pleasant. Body is perfect. I regret not getting the whole four pack because they pulled this off proper. Session Baltic Porter perhaps?
