3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12/20/13 can given to me from Jonas Nelson and John fisher. Nose was a watered down heff. Taste was slightly bitter. The can was 5 months past it's drink by date so...why did I rate this when the flavors we're probably off.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Another style tick from the discount bin at Parker Pie, Glover, VT. Pours an almost clear golden with a thin white head that doesn’t revive too easily and don’t leave much lacing. Aroma is of bananas and spices along some light bready notes. Taste is or caramel and bananas but also a little tart. Body is light, mouthfeel a little thin. All in all it isn’t too bad! I’m not a big fan of german beers though so others might be able to judge more aptly.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can - not sparkly nor filtered. Butter flowery nose. Spritzy for sure and a little sour if not tart. Tiny banana presence. Watery. Not my style or a poor representation or both but definitely not revisiting this unless I want Hefe cut with Perrier.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
5/8/2012. From can. Straw yellow with a white head. Malty aromas with yeast, banana, bread. Not my favorite style of beer though. Yeast and citrus flavors with grassy notes.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured a golden yellow color with aromas of wheat, light yeast, a touch of banana, and some candi sugar. Flavors are the same, light banana yeast in aftertaste. Decent beer overall.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(can) pale gold with white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat malt, some orange and spice. Taste is similar. More like a Belgian ale than a Bavarian heffeweisen

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cloudy yellow orange color with foamy white head. Smells like coriander and bubble gum with some baking spice notes. The palate has a slight orange peel aspect along with other tendencies I look for in a hefewiezen. Finish is a little thin. A good beer for the hot weather.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aroma has that Belgian yeast we all love so much; a touch of funk. Just a tad horsey, some musty hay, but make no mistake, it’s intentional. Touch of lemon meringue.
Cloudy gold color. The head dissipates like a cracklin’ bowl of Rice Krispies. I don’t know if it’s the beer’s age, but the yeast descends like ribbons
The funk is palpable here; has a bite on the way down. It’s tart and sour, with a lemony citrus. It is a tad on the doughy side of the spectrum, although it does have a hint of bubblegum sweetness to balance it out. The funk (borderline cheese-like) is definitely there.
Feels slick and oily, very thick and creamy. Don’t hate, appreciate the CHALLENGE of this one. Sam Summer Ale it ain’t, babies.
