3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: SEP 22, 2012 THOUGHTS: Nice and refreshing. Great summer thirst quencher but had a lot of flavor. Tons of citrus.
TECHNICAL: Can. Poured a light orange with a small to average, very close if not white, head that fully diminished and left virtually no lacing. The aroma had moderate wheat; slight light bread; light spicy yeast; a little banana; honey; lots of citrus; and sour fruit. The initial flavor was slightly sweet, lightly sour and light to moderately acidic; while the finish was lightly sour and moderate to heavily acidic with an average duration. There was wheat, honey, tons of citrus, a little banana yeast, and more citrus, slightly spices, yeast, sour fruit. The medium body was dry with fizzy carbonation and an astringent finish.

Can. Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma reminds me of a typical Hefeweizen. Taste had a lot of sweetness up front and a bit of spice on the finish. A bit sour.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
From the September 2012 3R6P gathering. +++ Sampled from a 16 oz can this beer poured a hazy pale yellow color with a medium sized soapy yellow-white head that faded quickly and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was tart, chalky, lemon, pepper, cactus and brett. The flavor was very tart with vague citrus, brett, chamomile and vinegar. Long finish of vinegar, brett, chamomile and lemon. Light to medium body. Ok.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
16 oz. can. Showed golden hazy color with average carbonation into a weizen glass. Low Co2 , head was large and fizzled into nothing. Nose is a nice clove and wheat yeast. Great banana flavor with lemons and wheat yeast. Clove with more citrus and some bubble gum. Biscuit malt shows up as well. The beer is pretty sweet yet, on the borderline of a Hefeweizen. Nice sweet yeast and citrus makes for a refreshing beer. Also has a mild sourness going on in the flavor. Sixpoint makes a good one here. And this pairs nice with several different dinner dishes.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pour form a one pint can. Cloudy amber brew with small white head. Aroma typcial of wheat ales with gumball and glue overones. Taste follows aroma, dominated by sour wheat flavors. WOuld proabbly benefit form a chunk of lemon or orange. It’s OK but I’m not so much into wheat ales these days.
