16oz can into a pint glass. Lemon, banana, wheat, clove, slight oak. More lemon, banana wheat Brett sourness on the palate. Refreshingly sour for a Summer wheat. Interesting cross of a sour and Heffeweizen.

5/8/2012. From can. Straw yellow with a white head. Malty aromas with yeast, banana, bread. Not my favorite style of beer though. Yeast and citrus flavors with grassy notes.

Poured a golden yellow color with aromas of wheat, light yeast, a touch of banana, and some candi sugar. Flavors are the same, light banana yeast in aftertaste. Decent beer overall.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(can) pale gold with white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat malt, some orange and spice. Taste is similar. More like a Belgian ale than a Bavarian heffeweisen

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cloudy yellow orange color with foamy white head. Smells like coriander and bubble gum with some baking spice notes. The palate has a slight orange peel aspect along with other tendencies I look for in a hefewiezen. Finish is a little thin. A good beer for the hot weather.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aroma has that Belgian yeast we all love so much; a touch of funk. Just a tad horsey, some musty hay, but make no mistake, itís intentional. Touch of lemon meringue.
Cloudy gold color. The head dissipates like a crackliní bowl of Rice Krispies. I donít know if itís the beerís age, but the yeast descends like ribbons
The funk is palpable here; has a bite on the way down. Itís tart and sour, with a lemony citrus. It is a tad on the doughy side of the spectrum, although it does have a hint of bubblegum sweetness to balance it out. The funk (borderline cheese-like) is definitely there.
Feels slick and oily, very thick and creamy. Donít hate, appreciate the CHALLENGE of this one. Sam Summer Ale it ainít, babies.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Had in a can and on tap at Bearded Lady. Pours a cloudy orange color with very light carbonation. Aroma is funky, yeast, saison fruit and a bit of spice. Interesting aroma; wasn't what I expected. Flavor is tart, orange citrus, bready yeast and some tingly spice near the finish.

Can (fatty tall boy?) from Cave's. Hazy light pour with a big white head. Aroma is sweet orange, wheat, and light tartness. Taste is heavy citrus, maybe caramel, and a good wheat cut in the finish.
