Aroma of pale wheat, coriander seed, a ton of curacao and even lemon peels, some candy sugar and quite a bit of banana. Light to Medium-bodied; Great banana freshness with coriander seed, curacao, lemons and tons of wheat - very refreshing. Aftertaste is very flavourful, with a kick of wheat, apples, pears, coriander seed, cloves and bunches of bananas show a very refreshing beer and a great representation of the style. Overall, a very nice kristall, and one easily worth searching out. I sampled this pint (473 mL) sized can purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 28-May-2012 for US$2.25 sampled at home in Washington on 31-July-2012.

can. Golden with two finger head. I’m not one to get very excited over wheat beers, but this is pretty darn nice. Clean and refreshing, and a decent amount of flavor. Light banana.

If you don’t like banana bread, you won’t like this beer. Otherwise, this is a great summer dessert beer. Incredibly, syrupy sweet. Very nice.Tried in NYC in 2013.

On draft at Lost Dog McLean VA pours a hazy gold with a white head. Peachy aroma. Somewhat thin mouthfeel. Hints of banana. Clean crisp finish.

Hazy golden beer with a frothy, white head. Aromas are of pungent urine and barnyard funk. The good news is that it tastes better than it smells. Tastes of funky lemonade, some oranges, bananas, and lots of wheat. Extremely refreshing and quite crisp. Fruity yet sour/tart finish. This was solid, a perfect brew for hot days.

Pours golden. Smell is not great, a little banana and wheat. Taste is tangy, a lot of banana , some spice but mostly fruity. A little funky. Not great.

The aroma is piss and funk with hints of lemon and wheat. The appearance is hazy gold with a large head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall very bad.

Lightly smoky, sweaty, doughy aroma. OK can, cloudy apricot colored beer. Tangy, low bittering, a little mashed banana, a little clove. Body has fine carbonation, and goes a little flat. Lots of esters in the finish/aftertaste. Fair. ABC Liquors, Betton.

16 oz can bb 29JUL2013. Nose is weak wheat with phenols that seem to be somewhat ill. Dark, cloudy golden body with some orange in it, large jiggly cream head. Taste strongest in wheat, has a good dose of juicy orange peel (and juice), some bubblegum and faint grape, clove, slimy light-med body with lightest banana. A touch homebrewy, does emulate the German KW well by seeming to be a mere shadow of a much better beer. Liked the consistent tanginess.
