COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The unmistakable flavor of a Bavarian Wheat, but with a clear golden brilliance and a Sixpoint twist. An entirely unique canned offering for the sun-worshipping ale lovers.

VERY good summer beer I would think. Looks like a hefe, cloudy and orange, nose is almost all banana, then a light clean palate with some malt, some yeast and a little orange and crisp finish. Very refreshing and deceptively light body for the amount of flavor.

Pours a hazy amber-gold with a small white head. Smells of banana, hint of clove, caramel. Taste is sweet, mildly bitter, spiced - banana and clove, hint of mango, strong wheat profile.

Glass from can. Hazy deep golden color. Whitish head. Aroma has the usual clove and banana, with hints of bubblegum and lots of yeast. Taste is fruity and very tart, clove. I feel like there is too much yeast, there's a musk to it. Like it is an Abby ale and a wheat mixed together. It's good but not what I was expecting for a wheat beer. Still it is refreshing and I imagine that the tartness of it could really hit the spot given the right hot day and grilled food. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. The look is cloudy, orange amber in color, with a white head. The smell is butter, funk, fruit, wheat, spice, overly ripe fruit. The taste is more butter, tart, fruits, wheat, and interesting.

Seen Sixpoint cans showing up around town for a while now but finally got my first taste and it was on tap. Clear orange-gold with white head. Wheat, citrus, spice, a little banana.

Can poured into glass. Not really sure what I thought about this beer. Sort of reminded me of an abbey ale but with a wheat twist. Sort of strange, and though I appreciated it for what it was, I didn’t really dig it all too much.

In Bavaria last week and some 3 times in the last 4 months, but I think that biases not my rating to a more stringent standard. This was a subpar effort. Pour on draft was hazy dark straw yellow, lacking full carbonation and a head on display. The aroma was stale bananas, barely enough phenolic zip. The flavor lacked the same qualities, bubble gum and fruitiness under it, heavy flavor, sticky/sickly, came off like a higher abv belgian triple, it was so strong tasting. Finish not nearly dry enough. Glad to have finished.

On tap@ C&G, yellow frothy pour with nice buttery wheat aroma. Round balanced wheat and clove flavors , smooth mouth feel, good finish
