Can [16oz]. Pours a hazy orange-copper with an average size lasting frothy white head. Decent lacing. Slightly odd aroma of pepper, other spices, some hops, citrus and pumpkin. Flavour is similar, with pepper, pumpkin, caramel malt, wood and a surprisingly bitter finish. Supposed to be ginger in here but I’m not getting any, unfortunately. Medium bodied. An odd beer but I didn’t dislike it.

Almost orange pour, decent head. Aroma is super grainy and spicey. Resinous hops out the wazoo. Lots of spices...although I don’t get a ton of ginger (which I normally hate in my beer). Pretty high bitterness level. Not a beer I’d run out to get again, but enjoyable.

Can to tulip. Rousing piney almost juniper hops aroma, very familiar if you have had other Sixpoint ales. Maybe there’s some clove or allspice, but I detect no pumpkins whoatsoever. Bit watery. Pumpkin spices are exceedingly subtle. So so bitter. Sure, some ginger. This is a hop fest. It’s not a good marriage of styles for me.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Yay, another mediocre beer from Sixpoint. +++ Sampled from a 16 oz can this beer poured a bright orange-amber color with a huge creamy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was strong floral and earthy hops with a nutty undertone. The flavor was strongly bitter with floral and harsh fruity hops and moderate resin. The hops completely overpower any pumpkin or spice save for a sour, tangy and off malty undertone. The finish was long, sour, tangy and hoppy. Medium body. Eh.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear gold-amber pour with a thick, foamy white head. Very strong leafy, grassy hop aroma. You can definitely tell these are wet hops. Extremely subtle pumpkin spice and caramel notes. The hops dominate the aroma, as well as the flavor. Very light sweetness, followed by waves of bitterness. More grassy and floral than citrrusy or piney. Faint underlying spices. Mouthfeel is medium-light and carbonated well. Pretty good as a wet hop ale, but dont go into this thinking it will taste like a pumpkin ale. The spices are overwhelmed by the hops. Not bad overall but I’d probably stick to their year-round offerings.

Has a hoppy floral note. A medium hazy amber color with a one finger head that dissipates quickly. Very bitter and sour which lingers. Just barely drinkable.

Cannned. Foamy pour like most sixpoints, hoppy floral aroma, light caramel taste. Ok.

16oz. Can: Aroma of malt, hops, grass, slight spruce, and a hint of citrus. Poured orange in color with a small to medium-sized, creamy, dense, tan head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Very sparkling. A few small and medium-sized particles throughout. Very good lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and medium bitter. Tastes of hops, malt, grass, leaves, light wood, slight diacetyl, and some resin. Medium body. Dry texture. Malt, hops, grass finish is dry.
