16oz. Can: Aroma of malt, hops, grass, slight spruce, and a hint of citrus. Poured orange in color with a small to medium-sized, creamy, dense, tan head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Very sparkling. A few small and medium-sized particles throughout. Very good lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and medium bitter. Tastes of hops, malt, grass, leaves, light wood, slight diacetyl, and some resin. Medium body. Dry texture. Malt, hops, grass finish is dry.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Ugh...how is this rated so high? Drinkable, sure, but nearly unenjoyable. Aroma was like a very distant manure patch. Pour was a flat murky dark gold with no head. Taste was pretty nasty and weird. Not much in the front but mid swallow there is a huge hop soapy flavor with strong metallic notes. The aftertaste is left numb with medicinal hops, band aid and metal. The beer grew on me as I drank it, but I can’t give it much better of a score. Decent carbonation makes the beer finishable.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
THOUGHTS: Not bad, but not what I was expecting. Overall I think it fails at trying to blend the fresh hop and pumpkin beer styles. It came across more as a nice hoppy ale that was sort of ruined by spices. Goes down easy, though. I just wished it tasted a little nicer. The actual flavor was fine, but the aftertaste of spices lingered too long and left a dry, almost dandy coating in my mouth. Tons of hops without all the bitter. It definitely got better as it warmed, but it was still a fail on the concept.
TECHNICAL: Can. Poured a light copper with an average to large, off-white head that mostly diminished. The aroma had light bread an caramel; hints of toasted malt; moderate orange hops; lighter pine hops; a little pumpkin pie spices and a hint of pumpkin. The pine and ginger really blended together. The initial flavor was light to moderately sweet and lightly bitter; while the finish was moderately sweet, light to moderately bitter and slight to lightly sour with a long duration. There was caramel malt, a little pumpkin, citrus hops, pumpkin pie spices, sour pumpkin, pine hops, orange, toasted malt and orange hops. The medium body was a little oily and then dry and also slightly sticky on the lips with tingly carbonation and a dry, slightly metallic and slmost chalky finish.

Can from NY state. Hoppy aroma, light orange coloured body with 3/8" of retained head. Firt I taste the hops, and then the spice in the finish led by ginger and pumpkin. Hoppy pumpkin beer, in a word. Decent drinkability, but not something I will seek out again. Average mouthfeel, above average carbonation.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
16oz can pours a hazy, burnt Texas orange with a frothy, lacing white head. Aroma is nice, mixes earthy hops and fall vegetables, pine, a little wet soil, dried leaves, maybe just a touch of spice. Flavor has some nice noble hop bitterness, lemons, a little soap, some sweetness, carrots, roasted squash, very light brown sugar. Medium bodied with a rounded bitter finish. A nice take on the fall beer style. Definitely not a wet hopped IPA but it’s also not a standard Spice/Herb/Veg either.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Pours a hazy deep orange with a thin white head. Aroma of sweaty, grassy hops and corn. Actually it smells pretty similar to Bengali. Flavor is similar plus just a hint of spices. I don’t really get any pumpkin. And again, overall, very similar to their regular IPA. Pretty tasty, just doesn’t live up to its description.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
16 oz. can. A "pounder" we called it back in the day. Poured into a pint glass. Pours a beautiful slightly hazy red/orange color with a thick one finger off white head. Sticky rings of lace are left as the head leaves us. Nice hop forward aroma with a semi sweet maltiness. Smells like a well made IPA to me. Maybe a hint of spice. As to flavor, this brew is full of floral hop taste that gets richer with every sip. There are some bits of spice and just a hint of pumpkin. The palate is full bodied & bitter. I thought this brew was terrific & will seek out more.
