Tap at Pony. Amber pour topped by a tight creamy head. The aroma is nicely hoppy with a nice fresh maltiness. A little bit herbal and spicy with a nice malt balance. There is also a lovely floral/lavender like character. Fresh and zesty. Tasty stuff

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can from NY state. Hoppy aroma, light orange coloured body with 3/8" of retained head. Firt I taste the hops, and then the spice in the finish led by ginger and pumpkin. Hoppy pumpkin beer, in a word. Decent drinkability, but not something I will seek out again. Average mouthfeel, above average carbonation.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of some generous trader. Another unfortunate brew that got lost in the back of my parent’s refrigerator. Oh yeah, here goes. Cloudy, reddish orange appearance with a big, bubbly, tan head. Quite spicy, ginger, somewhat piney, toasty malty aroma. Caramel, pumpkin, ginger, richly piney hoppy, toasty malty flavor. Not bad.

Pounder can from Capone’s. Pours hazy coppery orange with 2-finger off-white head. Nose is caramel malt, that fruity yeasty house character that seems to exist in all Sixpoint beers, and mild hops. Tastes rich, very malty, caramelly but not sweet, with a crisp dry hoppy bitter mid-palate. Comes off like a hoppier Bengali.
