Sixpoint Bengali Tiger is reminiscent of the century-old English IPA. In my perspective, many current IPAs suffer from lacking substance; unbalanced by a hoppy assertiveness that is not substantiated by a strong foundation of rich malt flavors. Our interpretation uses the highest-quality, floor-malted base malt, which lends a full-bodied and rich caramel flavor. We mash at high temperatures and add generous amounts of specialty malts to further emphasize a strong foundation of malt as leverage for our generous additions of hops… Which are indeed generous. We use a total of three different hop strains, and add a total of six different additions throughout the process. The Bengali Tiger has a hoppy snap upfront, but strides at a steady pace, and finishes balanced. The signature characteristic of the Tiger is the aroma… we use massive quantities of whole East Kent Goldings hops to dry hop in our conditioning tanks. The result? The essential oils from the hops are an enticing treat before every sip. Notice the lacing of stripes around the pint glass as you finish your glass; it’s the mark of the Tiger.

Cervesa de llauna, molt aromŕtica i gustosa, destaquen els tocs cítrics. Cerveza de lata, muy aromática y sabrosa, detacan los toques cítricos.

Pours a medium gold with a big white head that doesn’t last long. Nice orange citrus aroma. Taste is more piney hoppy flavor with a slight citrus taste. Overall a good beer in a can. Good camping beer if you want a little hoppiness.

Really like this balanced brew that manages at once to be both not over the top through its great sweet malts and a hoppy kick that's a pleaser for a real hop-head. Pours coppery with tight and mildly resilient head. Aroma is straight citrus and grapefruit with just a hint of resin. Mildly acerbic on the palate with heady effervescence and a very rich mouthfeel that still manages to clear without excess bitterness. Basically a heavily hopped IPA that can still stand up to summer, when you want a bit more refreshing, clean finishing brew. You know, or not. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draft. Dark yellow hazy beer with a nice creamy 1/2" head. Very sweet citrus aroma with oranges and zest. Balance sweet citrus IPA with a good malt balance and finished with a nice bitter end. Refreshing.

#2000. Pours a cloudy yellowish orange with a pure white head. Tons of lacing. The aroma is hop heavy with tons of tropical fruits, grapefruit and light herbal pine. Dewy and grass aroma. Light caramel malts with tons of fruit up front. Bitterness is moderate to heavy with a lingering pine presence. Grapefruit lighter than expected. Nice balance of malts to hops.

It has a spruce smell to it as well as taste but not overpowering. The color is a nice golden color with a foamy top that disappears rather fast. Doesn’t leave a weird texture on the tongue and is overall smooth.
