4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 monkeychugg55 (784) - Joliet, Illinois, USA - MAY 18, 2012Golden copper with a small whtie head that settles to a thin layer and leaves a lot of lacing. The aroma is strong on the East Kent Goldings, with a good amount of caramel and bready malt. The flavor is very strong, with a lot of said hops blending well with dense, complex malt. Nice blend of sweet and bitter as well. Tasty stuff.

This is a better than average IPA. Strong grass and citrus flavors and plenty of bitterness. Too average to be sessionable and slightly astringent.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 rollinsr (260) - Atlanta, GEORGIA - JUN 15, 2013
Pours a light amber with a finger of tan head. Aroma is heavy bitter pine citrus with some floral stickiness to it. Flavor has a lot more sweet caramel malt flavor. Some sips I get more bitter character and some less but the rich malt character is still there. Good IPA.

16 oz. can to tulip, "best before Sept 2013." Pours cloudy copper gold with a creamy two finger head. Floral and pine aroma, nothing too complex. Flavor is faint pine and raw hops, but kinda faded hops here. Medium mouthfeel and a little flat. A bit boring, but not terrible.

For awhile there I was confusing Sixpoint Brewery with Blue Point Brewing. Both are from New York and contain the word "point." While I have been largely disappointed with Blue Point’s offerings, this fist Sixpoint beer was excellent. Pours burnt orange with a white head. The scent of citrus is deceiving as the flavor has hints of curry. I am not sure whether the beer’s name is causing my head to play tricks on me. Carbonation provides bite that compliments the hops. 3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Bricks (466) - Delaware, USA - JUN 8, 2013
Appearance is a smooth honey brown with a large offwhite head. Smells of dry citrus hops. Quite bitter, almost oily bitterness.. grass, caramel and hops on the taste, with a hint of citrus but not much.. not as much as I’d like. It’s decent.
