COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
American Stout, full-bodied, roasted, and highly hopped.
Each dawn is clear. Cold air bites the throat. Thick frost on the pine bough. Leaps from the tree snapped by the diesel. On the darkest days of the year, light becomes a luxury. Just when you think you cannot penetrate the darkness... SNAP! Light pierces through the roasted pine forest.

Dark with a small head. Aroma has light roasted malt, some molasses, plenty of citrus hops. Medium bodies. Flavor is packed full of American hops. Background roasted malts. Good brew but would have liked a more powerful malt profile instead of the hops.

Tap: Jet black with a tan head and sticky lacing. Aroma of broccoli when being cooked. It has an interesting zing in the flavor as if the malts are crashing with the hops instead of blending which is ok in this case. It has an intense earthy taste followed by spices like nutmeg.

Black with a nice tan head that leaves good lacing nice retention... Hoppy but in a mildly medicinal way, roasty, not that appealing in the aroma... Flavor of light vanilla and mild roast... Medium bodied...

From a can poured a brown color with a small amount of head. More of a hoppy flavor than a malty flavor as expected with a lingering finish.

16oz can. NEEDS A PICTURE!!! Pours a clear cola with a medium, tan head dissipating quickly. Big green apple nose (acetaldehyde) with soy sauce and vegetal DMS. Tart apple taste with continuing vegetal DMS. Very gritty, powdery mouthfeel. Wildly tart back end. Overall green and cooked veggies abounding. Drainpour.

Pours black into an English pint. Mocha head with medium retention recedes leaving spot lacing to coat surface. Thin with resin and chocolate aromas. Sweet hot chocolate upfront turning to resin before the lasting charred resin finish.

Pounder cans from Smith’s and Wegman’s. Poured dark brownish black with off-tan head. Nose was charred black patent malt, cacao, hops, molasses. Tasted malty, with charred roasted notes, backup hops, and that Sixpoint house flavor that does clash a bit with the malt here. OK, not great.

Nanokeg into a pint glass. Pours a very dark translucent brown with a nice tan head with great retention. Taste is a little mild but pleasant. Lightly roasted coffe, dark chocolate, and slight hop bitterness. Palate is extremely thin for a stout which was dissapointing but very easy to drink none the less. Not bad but far from exciting.
