Solid over all. This is 16oz can, into tulip/pint hybrid glass from Moonlight Brewing. Aroma is roasty, toasty, and a bit creamy. There are certainly hops present though the overall malt/creamyess of this beer may make me think some age would make this a bit more one dimensional. Although, there is also a bit of booze that isnít particularly pleasant it is gone quickly once this sits for more than a minute.

ok, a loved the Bengali Tiger from this brewery, so unresearched I grabbed a 4 pack of 16oz cans. Diesel? No indication of style on packaging just some data and riddles. I see 69 ibu and reference to roasted pine forests. I think, wow this is a black india pale (sic) ale, great. Get home and look online, oh this is a stout, albeit a hoppy one. So, now I wonder, is this gonna be more like Stone Sublimely Self-Righteous or like a less ethanolic Victory Story King. Reviews are all over the place. This one would fool a lot of experience raters in a blind taste.
Jet black with dark tan and frothy head.
I get herbaceous earthy herbal notes and only slight roasted malt in nose and only slight soy which is good cause I dislike that, mintiness. Mouthfeel is very thin. Again, toasty malt taste is very much in the background and hop earthiness predominates. Long bitter aftertaste. This beer will neither please one expecting a stout, nor a lover of great black ipas. Iíll drink the rest but sorry I have 3 more.

16oz. Can: Aroma of malt, roasting, light licorice, soy and vanilla. Poured black/ruby in color with a tiny, tan head that disappeared quickly. Clear. Not sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of malt, roasting, soy sauce, vanilla, slight Bourbon, light caramel, and slight wood. Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Malt, roast, soy sauce, vanilla, caramel finish.

Draught at CK. Thinnish black pour, small beige head. Nose and flavor are both an example of bitterness gone wrong; surprisingly hoppy for a stout with manure notes, but also roasted malt bitterness. Unfortunate slick sweetness too. Not very good.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can. Pours almost black with a small beige head. Strange almost spicy nose. Flavor starts out okay with roasted malts and chocolate notes. Then comes a strange spicy taste followed by a cardboard like finish with a hint of rotten veggies. Pretty watery for a stout and has the same strange aftertaste as all other Sixpoint cans Iíve had.

1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
12oz pour at Churchkey is a watery, opaque black with a creamy, beige head. Nose is a little weird, dried hop leaves, wet brown paper bag, oregano. Flavor is like cheap tomato sauce, oregano, cardboard, light toast, focaccia. Medium bodied, gross, papery, vegetal finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Black pour with an ample tan head. The nose is weird: orville redenbacher popping topping, and earthy manure. Chocolate roast and hints of butter give way to cocoa nib. Medium palate with low carbonation.
