It's a nice perfect balance of malts and hops, the sediment is cloudy and floaty, the look is nice and golden with creamy head.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
The aroma is malty and hoppy with a touch of buttery phenols. The appearance is orange gold with a foamy head. The taste is like the aroma with an astringent bitterness. The palate is average. Overall nothing special.

UPDATED: JUL 13, 2014 Reddish gold with lite tan head. Aroma very floral hoppy biscuit and some pineapple. Smooth and malty with lots of citrusy hoppy flavors. Very friendly bitterness in the middle followed by creamy malty grapefruit hoppy finish. Terrific beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can (Best before March 27, 2014) poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy dark brownish orange color with almost 2 fingers of off-white head. Good bit of sediment floating around. Good lacing as the head fades at an average pace. Aromas of piney hops, caramel, citrus, biscuit. Tasting notes of pine/resin, citrus, caramel, piney hops, biscuit/pretzel, light floral and spiced notes. Medium carbonation, light malty mouthfeel. Medium body, semi-dry finish. Drinks sort of like an amber/IPA hybrid.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This beer seems to fall somewhere in between an amber ale and American barley wine. Aggressive hops with strong citrus notes of grapefruit, orange peel, and a light resin are well balanced by maltier hints of caramel and toffee. Well structured and enjoyable beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy amber with a decent head that quickly dissipates. Huge hoppy pine aroma. Tastes slightly caramel and then a big whack of pine-resin hops that stays with you. The 7% alcohol is there too and well balanced. A fair amount of carbonation. Overall another great beer from Sixpoint.

Growler, Cumming Growler. Hazy amber pour. Tall foam. Smells of hops with caramel malts. Hoppy bite. Citrus hops linger on the palate. Quite boozy. Mellow flavor. Balanced. (3992)
