Serving: Can. Pours a nice amber color. Sweet, boozy nose with a bit of resin. The flavor is overly sweet, boozy, and slightly medicinal. Some tropical fruit and plenty of resin. Lingering, unpleasant finish. Not impressed by this one.

Poured into tulip. Golden orange with quickly-disappearing off-white foamy head. Sweet resiny hop aromas with grapefruit and pine. A bit sticky with high carbonation and rich hops. Strong malty backbone balanced things out nicely. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour out of 12 oz can, hazy orange-red pour with white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, toffee, hints of earth, touch of orange, grapefruit, grass, pine, hints of grainy notes, touch of old hop notes as well. Taste is a mix of caramel, toffee, hints of orange, grapefruit, pineapple, touch of old hops but not bad, hints of grain, syrupy a bit, finishing bitter.

23/VI/14 - 12Fl. Oz. can @ home - BB: 12/VII/14 (2014-663) Thanks to PriorL for sharing the can!

Clear deep orange beer, irregular off-white head, little stable, adhesive. aroma: itís resinous all right (if thatís what the name is hinting at)! Citrus, orange peel and a bit fruity as well. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very sweet start, fruity, some citrus, hoppy, bit resinous, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: citrus, orange peel, sweet and sugary malt base underneath, with sweet ripe exotic fruits, gentle sourness and a nice hoppy ending. Lovely one!

Amber-orange color. No real head. Aroma is catty with notes of pine, grass, and slight dark fruit. Taste is sweet, malty, then a bit of sour grape. Mouth feel had bitter (simcoe-like bitter) ending that hangs around. Overall, solid east coast double ipa.

Pours hazy amber with a large fading head. Nose shows tons of sweet syrupy malt, some lychee, a bit of pine. Very malty. Some booze. Flavours include truckloads of sweet confectionery malt, almost cloying. Massive bitterness to balance. Some pine and resinous hops. Very full-on but the booze isnít all that prominent. Very syrupy body. Nice high carbonation.
