Bright gold translucent color with small white head and nice messy lacing. Aroma is piercing, citrusy and grassy, with slight vinous fruit notes and a little alcohol tingle. Flavor is intensely hoppy, resiny and piney, with a candy sweetness, and a faint earthy, malty finish. Mouthfeel is a bit oily with fairly evident alcohol presence, but still easy to drink. Was $12/4pk which a bit much, but fair considering the abv.

On tap at New England Taphouse grille. Lightly hazy orange amber color with a decent head. Huge pine with lots of tropical fruits and some big apricot in the nose and flavor. Solid bready caramel backbone and a hint of ethanol. Enjoyed the hell out of this sipper.

Good smell of pine, and citrus. Color of honey, the color I like to see in an IPA. The taste confirms the color with a malt back-bone that was preceded with citrus and pine. That’s my favorite hop flavoring! Sticky and bitter mouthfeel. Can you shampoo with a beer?!!!

Pours gold with a medium white head. Aroma is tropical, mango, passion fruit. Taste is pineapple-esque-mango-citrus leading to a looong citrus rind bitter finish. Nice!

Clear, orange colored beer with a whithe, one finger high head. Nose: Tropical fruit, orange, pine, sweet caramel malt, grapefruit and mango. Taste: As the nose, tropical fruit, caramel, floral hops, pine, resin and grapefruit. Body: Medium body with crisp carbonation. Creamy, oily texture. Bitter ending. Just a great beer!

Clear light golden color. Sweet grassy nose, medium intense. Radium sweet but mega hoppy taste. Builds up in the back of the roof of your mouth and lingers long .

Super hoppy nose. Lovely golden color. Big wallup of bitter hops greets you immediately then turns to a sweet thick syrup taste. Leaves a sugary coating on the lips. Alcohol almost burns the throat. Heavy brew.

Type: 12-oz. can Glass: Lagunitas mason jar From: Beer Advocate’s SteveB24 Price: N/A Purchased: N/A; Received on Feb. 7, 2015 Consumed: Feb. 10, 2015 Misc.: Best by July 9, 2015 at 10:23 p.m. Thanks Steve! Poured a honey, copper, clear color with 3-to-4 fingers of rocky, off-white head. Lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Good, spiderweb, foamy, circular lacing on the sides of the glass. Average retention. (Sight - 4.25) Smelled a nice whiff of hops up front, going with Citra, Amarillo, tropical, earthy caramel, another major hop (struggling here, Centennial?), mango, Jolly Rancher Fruit Punch, passion fruit, spruce, pine, sharp grapefruit rind and candied sugary notes. (Smell - 4.63) First thought on the taste was how smooth it was for 10.5 percent ABV. Got Citra hops, caramel, tropical hops, mango, faint pineapple, passion fruit, spruce, pine, faint resin, floral hops, red grapefruit, orange rind and sugary grapefruit. Booziness does come in a tad late. (Taste - 4.25) Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Long, bitter, tropical finish. (Feel - 4.25) I really enjoyed this one. Wow. I feel like I underrated it a tad. Just a really good beer. (Overall - 4.38) 4.35 96 A-

355ml can. Best before 09, Jul, 2015. Pours a crystal clear copper/caramel with a one finger, cream head. Aroma has slightly sweet notes of resin, pine, citrus, caramel, bread, and a touch of alcohol. Taste is huge. Starts out with big resin and pine notes, then a touch tropical and with stone fruits, pineapple, and citrus, then a bit of warm alcohol, then back to a big, resiny, bitter finish. Medium-full body with a medium carbonation. Resiny texture with a dry mouth feel. Very drinkable for 10.5%abv. Overall another huge beer. Big notes of resin, tropical fruits, citrus, pine, caramel, and a touch of alcohol.
