Pouring at the Saturday sessions of Extreme Beerfest. Pours a mostly clear glowing gold with a thin white head. Big graininess on the nose. Crisp and grainy, light tartness and toasted grain. Crackers and biscuits. Warm grain on the finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Uploading from memory because was not available to rate when drank. Fizzy and golden on tap, little head. Aroma is fairly standard lager but corn is readily apparent in the taste. Refreshing and different.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pint on tap at Bakersfield in OTR. Very smooth, lighter, crisp carbonation. Great mouthfeel, more dry finish. Straw, hay, buttered bread, hint of lemon peel. Hint of kiwi? Good hop notes. Better than any Mexican lager I’ve ever had; might even be able to pass as an ale. Light zesty sweet taste, more bitterness, but mostly just smooth and clean. Half hazy golden color, good even thin white head, leaves good lace. Delicious... But $8 for the pint stings
