Poured a hazy reddish brown color with a small, off white head, that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of oak, red wine, dried fruits, caramel, vanilla, citrus, and a bit of toffee. Taste of brown sugar, caramel, vanilla oak, dried fruits, and light winish notes, with subtle alcohol causing dryness. Thanks Mike!

Thanks to Blink182. Pours a lightly hazy golden amer with a small head that went away quickly. Aroma of nuts, caramel, light wine notes, dark fruits, Belgian yeast esters, lightly woody/earthy. Flavor was lightly vineous, earthy, light oak, caramel, nuts and light Belgian yeast esters. Some alcohol burn.

Rerate- Bottle from Weeare182. THis was a bit better than the cask I had at Spuyten a year ago. Aroma is a bit more lively- the carbonation is there- it seemed a bit more clean, not as dull, not as oxidized as it was then, seemed more real- and not fake as I had thought last year. - Still lots of acedic acid and turning towards a strong flemish red even though that probably isnt the intention. This is somwhat along the same lines as a de dolle oerbier reserva, although not really all that close to that kind of caliber. 12 oz gravity pour from a Pin at Spuyten Duyvil. Pours still, dirty hazy, deep reddish purple. Aroma is wine, grape juice, sugary sweet- almost artificial, oak, rotting wood, and phenolic-medicinal. Slick wierd medicinal flavor, with some oak, vanilla, lots of wine and grape tannins, more artificial sweetness- aspartame, and astringent metallic finish. Slick and thin.
