If it weren’t for the oysters, this would be a very thin and uninspired stout. There is an interesting hint of saltiness on top of a very lightly roasted malt backbone. Passable.

Clean black pour with large tan head. Aroma is very bold but balanced, coffee and cocoa notes are present Flavor is also very bold but well balanced, a light saltiness, heavy cocoa notes. Very nice beer, I’ve become a big fan of these Oyster stout releases
