4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Massive resinous hop aroma - huge sweet caramel malt palate then the hops kick in - enormously bitter - I like that, but too sweet for perfect marks. A great ale.

Well balanced. Orange amber with a big loose head. A lot of fruit and pine on the nose. Lots of bitterness, biscuity malt, sweet front and a bitter end. Well done big DIPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sweet base malt aroma with a healthy dose of pine and strawberry hops as well as apricot/peach accents. Hazy brownish yellow under a persistent, lacy, white flannel blanket. Flavour is well balanced, assertive hops bitterness, caramel malt sweetness, and resiny hops. Pine, strawberry and grapefruit peel. Medium body, medium carbonation, almost clean finish. Better balance than other sixpoints beers.

This beer looks the part of a DIPA, glowing orange with a tan head when poured out into a glass. Immediate hop aromas after pulling the tab, the more canned hoppy beers the happier I will be. Definitely a pine profile to the smell, also some citrus as well as some definite alcohol. As for flavor it is very sweet, but without being gross and cloying. The hop profile shifts to floral as I drink it, with a bitter aftertaste. Hints of licorice and oranges as well as alcohol vaporizing off the tongue. I love the mouthfeel, thick with restrained carbonation. Dry finish but a bit sticky on the lips. This was from a 12 oz can drank four months before expiration date. Overall really good DIPA, especially at its price point and ease of finding.

355mL can. Pours cloudy golden with a small white head and a sweet tropical aroma, nothing fantastic though.Big piney resinous flavour hit with a big bitter backing which is tempered by the mass of sweet malt.
